Trying to get back into the grove of drawing people. This was one of those "had a different idea then Applejack happened" moment. I think this is the first official humanoid pony pic I've done...

That's such a heartwarming and lovely thought. Applejack is certainly a loving big sister, and her excitement is clearly visible even if she's reading just above a whisper as Apple Bloom drifts off into dreamland. Let's hope it's not too difficult to extract herself from Bloom's bed now that she's asleep, but this makes me think she's had years and years of practice.

Glad ya like the pic so much. After Over a Barrel I kinda see her as the type who would have a bit of a motherly side-though only to her closest family and trees.

Is that a nightcap on Apple Bloom? That's sickeningly adorable.

It looks really good! Your hands and feet look pretty natural, and they are hard to draw from what I understand. The only critique I might have is that AJ's face looks a little bit off, but I have no idea what is actually "off" about it - sorry
